Uncertainty
God!. Do not let me doubt so much!.
Let me believe in something that
Will not disintegrate on touch,
Or fail me when I need it most!.
Give me some certainties to crutch
My wavering resolve lest I,
Dishearted, fall into the clutch
Of hopelessness born from a sense
Of trust betrayed. Don’t let my doubts remain
For, if they do, my faith won’t stand the strain!.
